What have I gotten myself into now?

Well, I just couldn't resist. I saw the auction, and well, you know the rest. I am now the proud owner of 25-yes TWENTY FIVE- electroluxes! I know some of you already have vac collections in the 100's, but 25 new vacs is still a lot for me! I have- i mean had- around 20 vacs before...

Oh thats awesome! I was actually thinking of wrapping the hose with string or something (that would have taken a while lol), just cause it does look so eh now. It also has some nasty kinks in it, guess those can't come out? But I might just bid on those Charles-thx for the link! My one question...

LOL I guess I got a little bored. I was taking stuff out of the basement when I found this-I completely forgot I ever got it! Its supposed to work (has a power box to plug into and everything), though it doesn't lol. Still, it by far makes the record of being the smallest vac in my collection...

    Nooooo!! Bad day :(

Thx Logan! It worked, and now the lux is drying. I just finished taking apart the power nozzles too- those were really wet, they're drying right now. The other vacs seemed to have held up ok- the Kirby on the carpet is fine- it was on a high setting so the brush roll is ok, the dial-a-matic is...

    Nooooo!! Bad day :(

If you can tell... the upper right corner just doesn't wanna budge. Should I just pull harder, or is there something else I'm supposed to do first? (and btw, thx so much everybody!). Oh, and as you can see the side trim by the cord is also significantly worn, so I'll probably be on the lookout...

    Nooooo!! Bad day :(

The Lux... Yea, we have a closet full of clothes and things we havent even had time to think about yet. We have made a dent now with the shop vac, and its only splashy in some areas. I think the diamond jubilee got it the worst-all the other vacs look like they're ok, though I gotta take the...

Lol thx for that perspective camelotshadow. Oh the thought of the poor vacuums in your grandma's basement! That would be awful. And thx for all the nice words everybody :). Well, our neighbor has one of those shop vacs that we were using to suck the water out. He said it looked like the sump...
