I could be wrong but I believe the Heritage II was released in late 1984, not 1985. The Generation 3 was released in 1990, not 1991.

Microfiber cloths work great for general polishing, with or without any kind of solvent. Keeping your Kirby clean and free of fingerprints will help protect the finish, but you'll still want to polish your machine at least twice a year with Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish or Flitz to keep the...
