    Well, since the metal appears to be cracked and has been repaired AND I believe I can see the suggestion of a cord protector peeking out from the backside, I'm going to stick my neck out and say it is one of those switch-on-handle numbers. Is it a Kirby 3R?

    Glad you like! Arguably more attractive, the 305 was the lowest priced machine in the late 1930s. The 25 was the mid-range model and the 150 the very tip-top of the line.
