Being the 40th Anniversary model, the company started back in 1963 so that means this would've been made in 2003. I can confirm it if I see the info sticker up close.

I agree, black looked so much better. The only model that I liked better in white over black would be their old Radiance Premium RADP, the newer R40P in black I thought looked hideous.
