Need a measurement on Aerus Electrolux upright hose

That still leaves the existing issue that the electrical connector is too large to fit into the plug on a G or similar machine. Im going to try and get mine to the bench grinder and gently work away at the rubber to see if i can make it small enough to fit into the connector and still hold tight...

Need a measurement on Aerus Electrolux upright hose

You can see why I need to file the connector on the upright hose compared to the pigtail hose Removing the cuff all I would need to do is attach the connector aside from grinding down the connector

Need a measurement on Aerus Electrolux upright hose

You would need to remove the very end cuff that fits inside the machine to make it work. I have been working on adapting one for a while and instead if spending time to grind down the electrical plug to fir the canister socket I finally got the right hose.

    The Electrolux Model G!

I've been working on that with my spare upright hose, but the cord and will need to be ground down to fit inside the rectangular cutout for the plug. Electrolux Three-Row Power Nozzle Brush Roll

I had bought two Pn-1 nozzles some time back out of the back room in an old vac shop, both of which had 3-row brushes. One power nozzle was a total write off, the motor was shot and the plastic hood looked awful. I had saved the brushroll, but ended up passing it along to Luke G for his Hospital...

Charlie, I was referring to the genuine blue Aerus Electrolux bags, not the generic blue HEPA bags

    Better filtration for electrolux

The genuine blue bags say they filter better because of ine word: marketing. Would you buy a bag that you knew leaked dust? I tried using them and they either leaked dust into the motor or the paper ripped off of the cardboard collar due to the suction of the machine.

    Better filtration for electrolux

The Germ Grabber bags were the same as the standard 4-ply bag, the name was just a gimmick. The IOTA bags were their very best... The current blue bags are absolute crap, go with the Envirocare for paper or the VAC (Vacuum America Clean) bags for HEPA. There is no way to add an after filter to...

Older clothes washers and newer detergent

We have a HE washer and it does not clean near as well as a conventional. I have to wash my work clothes 3 or 4 times in it to get them clean, when a conventional did it in one load.
