    Another Kirby For Sale

I thought so, Larryeddy. I wish people would actually read posts/eBay listings before making uneducated assumptions.

    Another Kirby For Sale

If you would've read the auction description, you'd know the sticker was his item number for listing on eBay. Not difficult.

    Another Kirby For Sale

Did you actually READ the auction description? 36 is his item number...it's really not that difficult. I've attached a screenshot of the description and of the Dymo label on the handle. You're welcome.

    The Great HEPA Debate

Truthfully, I don't think it's the vacuums that are "belching dust"...just saying.

Hoover 61 - recent find (what do I do with it?)

I definitely have a spare blower. As for the model 84 rug nozzle, I do not have one. I might be able to locate one for you though. I'll keep you posted!

Hoover 61 - recent find (what do I do with it?)

Hoover61, I'm quite sure I can beat that. Also, I do have a small arsenal of nos Hoover parts, it's not really that difficult to restore them if you know what you're doing. The motors are rather straightforward. This would make an awesome daily driver...no need to scrap it for parts.

    1 or 2 speed Hoovers

Two speed Hoovers The models 800 and 825 were two speed, as was the model 150. They were not automatic like the rear conversion Convertibles. The 60 through 64 side conversion cleaners were one speed (400-420 watts).

Hoover 825.. A Dream Machine Found

The brush strips for the 825 are straight die cast aluminum that snap into place, and are reversible for wear. I think I have an extra set I can spare. The agitator on the 825, much like the 700s, is massive compared to the 60 series. I'll send you a message. :)

1950s?? vacuum cleaner - any info

It looks like it was/is a 29. The handle is too long to be a 63, and the 62 would've had the tan hand grip. This appears to have been painted to resemble a 63. From where the paint has worn away, you can see the familiar maroon hood and what looks to be the silver hammer tone paint on the base...

Seriously people are nuts on ebay sometimes

Yesterday it also had an aftermarket eureka bag on it...hence the ugly screw holes on the back of the cleaner.
