It sounds like you may have already identified what you see as the “significant” flaws in each of these vacuums, but the way it’s worded feels a little unclear. It might be more helpful if you listed the specific flaw you see in each one. That way, we can look at them together and either agree...
This is what I found on YouTube. The guy in the video is one of the most knowledgeable vacuum cleaner repair and sales experts out there. He reviews nearly every vacuum cleaner built and sold in the U.S., as well as many models from other countries. I haven’t finished watching the entire video...
There should be a cloth bag with a rubber gasket that fits tightly around the bag compartment. You can also use a paper bag liner which acts as an extra filter and protects the paper bag. With that the lid should seal enough when latch the lid you

I think we should all wait before we kill off the Platinum. As far as filtration is you search YouTube there's a person who owns a large vacuum dealer ship in the Midwest. They did a comparison between several high-end vacuums. Both the Miele, Sebo and Aerus Platinum proved to be the very best...
It will be interesting to see how close close to what really is happening with Aerus the Platinum as the CEO as you claim. My good freind who owns a fairly large franchise here in the Clearwater, FL is actually at the annual convention in Europe. He's there with the CEO and most of the Franchise...
Okay. It appears that we're all hearing different things from to many sources. That includes the actual Aerus dealers and non Aerus owners or owners of their own franchise. I think we should all just sit back be patient until what ever we're hearing comes to be.
Aerus is not going out of business. Nor are they downsizing. The sales of the platinum are doing very well. I'm not sure where you got that information. This is from a very reputable friend and large Aerus dealer here in Florida. I would do your fact checking first
So I guess that means you don't have a correct S wand for that model. This is the exact model that I bought with the bent and crushed s wand. Thanks for your help
It never hurts to ask. Mine is the metal swivel top. Since it followed the green I'm going to guess it's from the late 50's. It breaks my hears that the S wand came bent. I tried to make the one end that connects to the straight round enough to fit. Sadly it is so misshaped that I just won't...
I bought and received a pink GE Swivel Top canister. Sadly the S wand came dented. I haven't be able to remove the dent. the open end at the top is also dented and cannot be fixed properly in order to connect to the straight wand. I'm hoping that someone in our group may happen to have an extra...
HI Kevin, I have to agree with most suggestions regarding your leaking XXX hose, I have used Flex Seal on two of my model XXX original hoses and had much success. Yes, it does take patience and a little experimenting but it does work. Good luck.
Thanks Edgar, I really appriciate the advice. I don't feel confident enough to tackle that all by myself. I have a friend who works for Aerus here that may be able to help with most of that. Stay tuned. Thanks Michael

As many of you might know that we lost everything to Hurricane Helene. That included all my vacuum cleaners both current and vintage. My GE Roll Easy also drawn. The good new is that my freind from the local Aerus Lux store was able to get it running. However it does have some rust and paint...
Rare Electorlux AP Canadian Vacuum Cleaner. The vacuum is all original to this machine with the exception of the PN. Although the original hose does not leak the handle is very brittle and should not be used for daily use. I do have a electrix crush proof hose that I will sell separately to...
My machine if a cream color. However it is in great condition. I'm in the process of cleaning it up including rebuilding the PN. I'm going to put it on eBay once its done.
