    History for sale

I saw this Ebay listing, which might interest history buffs and non-electric collectors alike. According to Alex Taber's comments on Vintage post#23637, this is the 2nd oldest vacuum cleaner in existence; and the very first tank pumper!

    Kind of depressing

Evidence to back that up Nearly all of the vacuums for sale at the Goodwill stores are Dysons or Dirt Devils. Tons of RoboVacs and Roombas. Its very rare to see a Kirby or Electrolux or vintage Hoover. Gee, I wonder why? Its certainly not that these beasts are scarce according to Ebay.

    HOOVER u4186 going cheap

    Seeking a few Lux's

Did you see the Spec. Ed. on Ebay? Hi Levi, I ran across this Special Edition canister vac on sale for $250.00 (they're not giving them away).

    In need of some parts

Pricey option Hi kirbyds80 I came across this posting on Offer Up. You might get this one and have a "best of both" Eureka ESP when your done swapping out parts. (I don't know if there's much difference between the "B" and the "D" model)

    Curb Find: Electrolux Discovery II

Hey there, human I was just watching a video called "Changing a belt on an Electrolux upright vacuum" (it was a Discovery II) on YouTube. The powerhead cover was fitted right before he takes it off to change the belt. But the cover didn't go on right at the end of the video. I think you just...

    1890s vacuum?

Don't mind the price. But, shipping that 5,000 miles to Hawaii kills it for me

    The missing piece

Sorry folks, your vacuum collections can hardly be called "complete" until you get one of these babies! It even comes with an interchangeable head.

    Wheel for vacuum cleaner

Got an idea Hi Axell, Hoover.com has some replacement wheels in stock, but they don't mention its specs. If you want to measure diameter, put popsicle sticks on the top and bottom of the round part. Make sure the sticks are parallel, then measure the gap between the sticks. You may need to...

    1930's? Apex upright

That's so cool! But, I'm surprised people had money for such luxuries during the Depression.

    1930's? Apex upright

Came across this Ebay listing (active now). My guess, this is either a salesman's sample or a prototype.

    Electrolux 1205

Fellow enthusiast You guys MUST be familiar with the website (theelectroluxman.com) He restores/rebuilds anything Electrolux. Great source for new old stock parts and accessories, too!

Chance of a lifetime if "The Price is Right"

Thanx for your expertise Dysonman1 I wasn't "sucked in" to his efforts to haggle. Though I am into collecting non-electrics at the moment. Just a basic starter set: a Feeny plunger vac; a Superior sweeper vac; a Doty upright; and, a Bissel Standard carpet sweeper. Always on the lookout for a...

Hoover "coffee can" type for sale

"Eye of the beholder" Sounds like you got a great deal! A thing's intrinsic worth is based largely on what the highest bidder is willing to pay. I wonder what Jackson Pollock's dropcloth would go for !?

Hoover "coffee can" type for sale

Any takers? The listing is from May but it may still be active.
