We had a Fury at one time but didn't like it. Our Miele dealer gave us $100. for it a few years back on a trade. He was interested in it as it was in good shape and he sold used vacs too. I figured that someone must like those as he gave us what I felt was a very good price.

We've had our Hoover Spin scrub for about 4 years now and still love it. I love that the brushes pop out so easily for cleaning. But I have found that for our purposes the Bissell cleaning products work better on our carpets than the Hoover stuff does, and it's a little cheaper too.

I have a Miele S314i. The hose coupling where it enters the vac snapped in half off the hose. Is this a do it yourself repair or do I have to buy a new hose? I believe the hose is the SES-105. If repairable, where would be the best place to get parts? Thanks!

We have three dogs and only get about 3 complete vacuumings of the house before the bags are full. And I mean they are rock hard, stuffed when full. We brush the dogs frequently and that helps. BTW, the dogs are Labs, so they are quite large.
