I have a Miele S314i. The hose coupling where it enters the vac snapped in half off the hose. Is this a do it yourself repair or do I have to buy a new hose?
I believe the hose is the SES-105. If repairable, where would be the best place to get parts?
Thanks!

You can do this yourself. See the 2 tabs on each side of the coupler right before the swivel? Pry those 2 out and the coupler will pop off of the hose. You can buy them too. The part is called a drain elbow. Not the best pic, but one of the clips is there in the middle.

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll go down to my Miele dealer tomorrow and get the part.
I appreciate the help!

I found that by pressing those two tabs in at the same time releases the drain elbow rather than pulling the old ones outward.
