If that H2 came that way it is rare,most likely the plastic mini emptor broke and they replaced it with the full sized one,if thats the case then they would have changed the rear axle to a H1 style, Kirby widened the rear axle on the H2, If you put on a full sized emptor it will rub on the wheels.

Ditto I just got a Dual 80 Friday, It was factory rebuilt in '88,It still has all the green trim, looks great,I don't think they ever emptied the bag, Not looking forward to this task.

Noise does't always mean more power or suction, I have a small head Heritage two and just got a dual 80 Friday, as soon as I clean the bag I'll bring it upstairs, One good test would be to put the hose on both and compare suction.
