Kirby Heritage 2 hepa Filter bags

Well part of my problem is the bag is blue/green. It says its suppose to be universal for regular and f style. I'm kinda wondering if I should take them back for the regular blue bag.

    Panasonic Jet-flo belt issue

I've been having an issue with my Panasonic Jetflo MC 5115. The belt keeps sliping over to rub on the side. There is a bunch of black rubber residue on the side of the base. Anyone have some tips on a remedy?

    Domestic Vacuums in Commercial Settings

I think that a lot of business/commercial places go through vacuums pretty fast. A big chunk of people do not maintain their vacuums so imagine 20 different people who don't want to change a belt or empty a bag. So the question comes up on why spend a chunk of money on machines that no one will...

Kirby Heritage 2 hepa Filter bags

I wanted to see if I could get Hepa filter bags to use with my Kirby Heritage 2. I went to the local vac shop (which has history of not knowing their stuff) and they gave me Universal Hepa Bags that are suppose fit both twist and style F. They don't fit near as snug around the collar as the Arm...

    Panasonic modification

This model doesn't have any wheels in the front to remove. Also I installed a new brush roll last year so I don't think that's the issue. I'm not really keen on dealing with the local dealer since he's kind of known as a rip off artist.

    Panasonic modification

I'm not thinking of 10 lbs. of weight. Maybe more like 50-100 grams. These lead weights are meant for piano keys so they are about the size of peppermint candy. I was thinking in terms of adding weight to the base to give the same weight as a canister power head.

    Panasonic modification

In my small collection is a Panasonic MC-5115. I'm clueless of the year its made but its near mint condition. For the most part I love it; its simple, great suction, and very easy on the ears. My problem is the front is a self adjusting floating brush roll part. Its just too light so it just...

    Sentria2

I can understand the DVD cut back as it seems everything is being cut back these days. I'm guessing that more people watch the video than thought and a 30 min is pretty easy to stomach than actually reading the manual. It is sad still that all that good visual info got chopped but still a large...

    Sentria2

Has there been a proper YouTube vid on this vacuum that I can't find? I've searched but it only brought up a stationary display pic of it.

    Round belts?

I'm in total agreement the the wisdom stated above in using Genuine Hoover round belts. I've tried the Eureka belts once and it stretched too fast and the generic belts either broke quickly or stretched too fast. Genuine belts seem to last and last and last. It many cost $1-2 more to get...

    Hoover convertible power switch

Does anyone have any tips for aiding a sticky on/off switch on a 1970s Hoover Convertible? Its my favorite daily driver but the old girl keeps getting stuck on unless I flip the switch repeatedly.

    Hoover Decade 80 bearing replace

My hoover Decade 80 has a worn out lower bearing and I have a new one to replace it but the old is held in place by a plate riveted in. My first question is how to remove the rivets and second, whats the best way to secure the plate in place?

    hoover brushroll swap

Thank you! I'll track down used originals. I was thinking of the CWP replacements but the original metal ones seem the better choice.

Rainbow D2 with Eureka Power Nozzle

I like that you put a VG1 brushroll in it. Could that be done with the D3 and D4 rectangular pns?

    hoover brushroll swap

Two of my Hoover Convertible brushrolls need help. The first one has worn brushes (that are not replaceable) and the second has worn brushes as well and the bearing have been replaced but it has a weird vibration. I'm at the point I'd rather replace then attempt to repair them so my question...

    Light-Weight Upright Suggestions

Panasonic makes a nice basic model MCUG 581 that is not quite as light as an Oreck but has a stronger motor and port in the back to attach an option 12' hose kit. The Simplicity/Riccar is a nice machine as well.
