    Vacuum for my mother-suggestions

Hello I saw my mother last night who is considering getting another vacuum. My mum currently has a Miele cylinder which is fine but she would prefer an upright as being 73 & none too good on her legs an upright gives her something to hang onto, whereas a cylinder & hose can be a bit of trip...

Brand-New 2013 Numatic Henry Vacuum Cleaner

Great video of the new Henry. I must admit I was cringing when you decided to take the face off, you're a brave man risking it snapping! I'm so glad it didn't. The park feature is a long overdue feature on these. Dave

    Numatic reliability issues?

I must admit the eco-switch has always worried me a little. A Henry of ours has it, we've had him 2 years & he's been fine but features like this are a risk in my opinion. I do wonder if being used on high power a lot has an influence on how long the Eco switch lasts. I notice that matt8808...

    Numatic David

Hello No I'm afraid Colin is still sleeping :-) I put new brushes in but he's still not right. I'll stick a new motor in at some point. Look after that David, he's lovely & as I say if you ever want to move him on remember me ;-) A Happy 2014 to you & David. Cheers Dave

My New Cream and Brown Henry

I've seen before that someone said only 90 of the cream & brown Henry's were made. To be honest I've never believed it, it was listed in the catalogues & wasn't a special order model (as far as I know) so I can't imagine there would only be 90 made, that would constitute a really low production...

    Which Numatic should I buy?

I'd go for an 80's one, that way you can also look for a powered floor attachment to fit it, as it'll have the power take off socket. I've always thought that's a cool feature. Dave

1993 Numatic Henry HVR200 In Green!

Thekirbylover that's a great collection & picture of your Numatics. You also have a Numatic David ! That vacuum is the holy grail for me (i've probably more chance of locating the holy grail to be honest than finding one of those !!) Cheers Dave

A little something vintage and German

Great find. There's something about the design of the older Miele's that reminds me of the squared off styled BMW cars, like the 80's 5-Series etc- unmistakeable looks & absolute solid quality.

1993 Numatic Henry HVR200 In Green!

The power heads utilising the power take off on the earlier Henry's are very effective (I have one for one of mine). They're better than the air-driven ones you can get now (which are themselves good). The only thing I would say is find them slightly clumsy to use, so I tend to treat it a...

    3D face Henry's

Hello Joe No I haven't sorted Colin yet, I was thinking about him earlier as I saw him in the garage looking sad (still smiling obviously but sad !). I think I might try & get a new Motor & fit it, there's one or two sellers on ebay who have what might be a good bet. (If anyone can recommend a...

    numatic henry 2013

It's a shame they've got rid of the shopping bag I liked that. How easy is the clip on face to fit & does the docking fitment work well? Cheers Dave

    3D face Henry's

The lack of a facility to park the pipe/ hose was the main reason that when my mother needed a new vacuum for her tiny 1 bedroom bungalow with limited storage (meaning tidiness is important) I didn't get her a Henry. Instead we went the Miele route (which she is happy with), however if this...

    3D face Henry's

Hi Yes I have a couple with the stick on faces, seems a bit odd that Numatic have effectively gone backwards, but they don't make too many changes so have doubtless researched it well enough to know it's a good idea. I always liked seeing the boss eyed ones :-) It's a pity with the new mask...
