    Electrolux Model G Electric Hose

Logan, that is so awesome! Like many others I had no idea such a thing existed either for the G. Interesting grip and great colors! Does anyone know if the earliest 1205s had hoses with outside cords, or did they start out with the cordless ones? I'm glad you had a great trip and are home...

    Andy's Vacuum Collection

Andy my friend, what a fantastic collection you have! Such fun to see a vintage Miele as well! I'd seen a picture of a really old one and of course the newer ones, but not any inbetween ones. It's interesting in canisters all the experimentation over years with different shapes and what not. I...

    Two Unusual Plastic Convertibles

What wonderful, unusual cleaners! I've not seen dual voltage or the unusual wattage previously either. Supre(macy) was once the private label brand of Macy's, who sold a Royal derivative under that name. That of course would have been long before this Hoover line.

Electrolux Model S - CHECK THIS OUT!!

    My Weekend Find!

Oh Terry that's wonderful! It's an earlier one too with that power nozzle. I'll look forward to seeing it when I visit!

    Eureka 123

Very nice Terry! It is from the 70s, I remember them well. They came in that famous Eureka powder blue too, prior to the orange.

Hoover "Lightweight Heavy-Duty Commercial Cleaner"...A True Story

Wonderful cleaners all! Roger has one, can't remember if its a 334 or 344. But, I never knew they existed til that day he found his.

    Hoover 728

Heather, this is one of the cleaners Hoover had fun with, design-wise. I have one too and have always liked the colors and bag design!

New Member of My Royal Family

What a wonderful cleaner, Morgan. I have an 880 that is my everyday cleaner. I absolutely love it. I too would be interested in knowing the approximate age, if anyone knows. I got mine from Roger, who has found a fair amount of Royals around Tucson.

    Cousin Susan's Hoover

Oh yes I remember those...thanks Jeff

    Todays POD

That was a very nice cleaner. It reminds me of the Singer R1 I think the model is. What does NRA mean in this case? I was trying to figure out what the National Rifle Association had to do with vacuums or GE, but it sounds like this may have been something else.

    Cousin Susan's Hoover

Very nice work! That bag does look very nice on the machine. Would this unit have had a solid, color keyed bag originally, or would it have been a patterned affair? In all events, how wonderful that she's used it all these years, and now she'll get at the very least as much more life out of it...

The Famous Hoover Floor a Matic!

Tom, I'm so thrilled you got this. I actually did see it and considered it, and after reading some of the seller comments I backed off. I went back later to check and saw it had been sold to you, and I was happy it was going to a good home, to which I'm glad it safely arrived even if it took a...

    JC Penney 1979

It's interesting to learn of the boxtop bags, I'd never seen those until you or someone posted some once before. I didn't think any actual Hoovers had them. I've always liked the more tapered Hoover styles, I didn't like the bags as well when they got "wider." It's also nice to learn about #7...

    Here are some VACUUMS!

Nice finds Tom! I love my Floor a Matic, couldn't keep house without it. I use it both for scrubbing floors and shampooing rugs. It's a sort of funky burnt orange from the 80s, but I bought it to use so I didn't obsess about the color, just that it was in fine shape.

    Electrolux 1521

1205 has every bit of power it needs to get the dust from th Danemodsandy (and Lux1521) thanks for the insight on the 1521 sound levels. Danemodsandy I could not agree more with the statement you made and a portion of which appears above. It seems many if not most manufacturers seem to have...

    Hoover Slider

I purchased a Hoover Slider on Terry's recommendation and really enjoy it. I bascially use it to pick up crumbs and surface litter from my hard floors, and I have some flat pile area rugs that it does great picking up lint on. I wasn't concerned with the size of the dirt collection because of...

    Electrolux 1521

How is the noise level on these 1521 models as compared to the Super J, 1205 etc? The later ones are horrendously noisy, the Gs and those mentioned above are great, but I've never used a 1521.
