Unfortunately, I think the motors dying on me, it's started producing a burning smell. It recently had some new carbons and the armature was cleaned up because I found the armature...

they also sent me this which is quite interesting. I've heard of a Goblin Dogsbody but this appears to be a commercial version from BVC (who owned Goblin) it was also sold under Electrolux, Nilco and Fakir

    Newly acquired BVC

it's quite possible, BVC made a huge range of commercial and industrial cleaners around that time. The most famous film appearance for BVC would probably be the hotel scene in the Return of the Pink Panther movie. I've included a link below :) The most common style of BVC seems to be the...

Hi guys, just picked up this unusual BVC, never seen another like it before. It's had a hard life and is a bit tatty, the motor was seized and the switch knackered, however i've rectified this and it runs quite well now. Does anyone remember seeing any of these back in the day? Unusually, it...

    Electrolux C2116 restoration

it is an incredible vacuum, really do love this one. I wish parts were a bit more easily available over here though. I need 2 new top cord hooks for my ones. I don't mind the shakeout bag but I haven't had to empty it yet. When I first got it, it was bulging and stuffed full of sand and I used...
