Very nice Ryan - its hard to believe its the same vac as in the first photo - you put a lot of effort into doing up your vacs - all credit for saving a very rare model from the scrap heap.
Its so satisfying to look at the finished article and say to yourself - "I did that", and a hoover of distinction that can only appreciate in value gets its deserved TLC.
Pulling them apart for thorough cleaning and finding how they work is what I enjoy.

lol cheers, it is a nice feeling knowing that you've rescued something from the tip and brought it back to its former glory. Like preserving a little bit of history

i've been really lucky with this one, firstly finding it, finding the new lid and the floor tool. it all just fell into place lol

I used to use one of these a couple of years ago when i cleaned for the NHS. They were in most of the clinics as a back up machine.

I really liked how quiet they were. Would of liked to have used one with a power head..

Good work yet again ryry!

cheers guys, yeh I guess that modern sebo tools would fit. The 1354's was picking up rice in the vid hence the noise lol

Im only asking because three years ago when I was working in Edinburgh, I found a whole box full of Karcher wet n dry suction floor heads at B&Q. Evidently they were for one of the many Karcher tub vacuums they carried. I measured the opening and bought one - it made a great floor tool for carpets once the rubber squeegees were taken out when attached to the Sebo X wand - those Karcher floor heads fit the Sebo sizing via friction fit so it was a bit of a boon at the time.
