    1800's Agan Vacuum

Super cool, wish I had money to buy it! It appears to be missing the brush roller. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283858237885

What vacuums have you seen in movies?

I spotted these two in the 80's tv show Hotel; a Dial-a-matic and a commercial Eureka. I'm not sure why these photos are in sideways!

Fantom Fury motor bearings on their way out?

That definitely sounds like bearing scream!

Bissell Ad in October 1967 Life Magazine

I have a Gemini, in my opinion they are the finest carpet sweeper ever made by Bissell.

    A Premier Corner

I'll have to examine it closer, if I can find the piece that broke off I was consider seeing if a welding shop coukd repair it.

    Thomson Duplex

While browsing Ebay France I happened upon this ad for a Thomson Duplex. It looks to me like a rebadged Premier Duplex. Has anyone seen a rebadged Premier in person, of this era?

    A Premier Corner

Thank you all for the kind comments! Indeed, a parts donor did resurrect the 37. Sadly for the Duplex 53, the belt pulley was broken off the fan shaft. That's the second one like that I've seen. I may find a donor armature at some point.

    Regina collectors

I've got two Housekeepers and one Ultra, along with three brooms. I grew up with the Housekeepers as my family seemed to love them.

    Weird GE Junior on Ebay

I've seen a few Premier and GE Junior models but this one just looks odd. If you look at the picture of the nozzle area it looks like its been cut. Almost like someone took an AV1 and cut either end of the nozzle off to shorten its width. What would be the purpose of even doing that...

New and improved Air Way Dust indicator

Amazing! I need one of those!

    Two old Eureka vacuums

I saw those on Ebay, wanted them but the shipping was just to much! I'm glad they found a home!

    Airway model 50

Yes, those plastic caps contain the motor brushes. I had an Air-Way that the carbons were so worn out they were slivers you could have shaved with and that the spring had marred the commutator. But, new carbons and polishing the commutator revived it. As for that plate, it could be holding some...

Did anyone see these on ebay

Yep, that's the same Premier. If it sells for 450 then I guess mines also worth a small fortune since its all original LOL.

Premier De Luxe vacuum, was this the alternative "budget" vacuum to the Duplex?

Lesinutah Yep, that's the one! I purchased the GE AV1 off ebay and was able to swap the armatures. There's a really cool Premier on EBay that's a Special model with the sales demonstration bag. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F283657881240

It hunts dirt in the night!

Thanks for all the info guys! I also forgot to mention it's straight suction.

Premier De Luxe vacuum, was this the alternative "budget" vacuum to the Duplex?

Yep, it's got a 37 in the middle of the belt cover and also on the bag.

It hunts dirt in the night!

It's a Vampyr! At night it rises from the closet and sucks the life dirt from unsuspecting carpeting! Well maybe not, BUT, it is a weird machine. The nozzle and motor casing are bakelite and the motor is a 220v drop in type with rubber mounts. They had dry rotted and collapsed so I remade them...
