Two old Eureka vacuums

I love finding them this dirty - it's that much more satisfying when they are polished! It's like being Indiana Jones finding the grail

The guy I got them from found them in a barn. The 238 works, the model R needs a new cord. I will fix them up when I get time. I have alot more vacuums that are in line first to get fixed up.

From Illinois to Illinois the shipping should have been virtually nothing - the only way it might have been high was if the seller just randomly guessed the shipping charges and box dimensions when listing it - with anything over so many inches high and weight, the shipping charge is catastrophic. The new dimensional rates that USPS and UPS/FedEx implemented virtually destroyed the vacuum cleaner market. It's like $50-$60 to ship a vacuum now :/

They're still on ebay as

Lot of 2 Antique Eureka Vacuum Cleaners - Model R and 238

they want Seventy some odd dollars for the pair and they are located in Missouri for local pickup
