    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

I find it funny so many people wanted to bash TTI. Yet here they are doing some great things for Hoover Royal and Oreck. They will be even making some parts here. I had to order a new dirt cup for a bagless Hoover Task Vac and the packaging said made in the US. Pretty much all Royals except for...

    Opinions on Oreck XL's

Things just don't seem to add up. I feel some people on here stick their nose up at a vacuum just because of a few others thoughts. If you have never owned one or really used one (and I am not talking about just a few minutes using one), don't comment on it. Orecks are hard to kill and actually...

    Pile of vacuum

I am very much into urban exploration and whenever I see videos of people going through abandoned hotels/motels I am always watching for the vacuums. This is a good one save the couple of Dirt Devils.

    Vacuum Help Blog

I find it funny how some people will use this site just to market their own means. If the op actually took some time to browse the forums they would see what TRUE enthusiasts and experts would recommend. He would also see that almost all of his recommendations are nothing that we would...

    What's The Best Method For...

I have found using a good foaming glass cleaner or furniture polish other than Pledge used with a microfiber cloth works really well. There will still be a little cloudiness to it but not as bad as one that has been used daily for years. There may be some one on here with a better solution.

    Opinions on Oreck XL's

I personally like them. People complain about the noise level but have you used a Tacony lightweight? Those are not by any means any quieter. Are they over priced? Somewhat even when compared to Tacony models. They sell well and most consumers seem to love them. I have two classic type models as...

    I Finally Got an Elite!

I still see more Elite type machines being used in homes than Convertibles now a days. Some of these Elites are pushing twenty to twenty five years old and in most cases still going strong. I like convertibles due to their purring sound that I can not find in any other vacuum. I like Elites...

    Opinions on Oreck XL's

Vac-o-matic is right, it was made the 52nd day of 2012. The C designates it was series C or the third series of that paticular 2200. These were in Biglots for a while but on the box they said remanufactured I remember because I ended up buying one from Biglots. I sold it on to a family member in...

    TheBoss SmartVac Discontinued?

You can still get the Tempo through Hoover's eBay channel. The molds are still kicking out the commercial Windtunnel so I am hoping that we do not see that model/style go away any time soon.

    CB1205 Electrolux

I hope that is a typo way too much money for that unit.

How do I get to the motor of a Riccar Radiance?

I am hoping this worked for you? If so glad I could help.

How do I get to the motor of a Riccar Radiance?

To take the black cover off their are a few steps. With the vacuum UPRIGHT I highly stress this, take the two screws out of the spring loaded mechanism. Recline the unit back to release the bar off the two circular ends of the springs. On each side there are two motor mounts secured by two...

    Hoover Encore Supreme

I have two of these and I am not in need of doubles. It is in need of a cord and brush roll which I can fix for you. Send me an email and we can see about getting it to you.

    Oreck Introduces the Elevate Uprights

Most of these units are still American made. The Magnesium series are made in China as well as their air purifiers, the Surface Scrub and Revitalize carpet washer. The Orbiter is still made here as well. Most are parts are made in China and on the machines that are made in Cooke ville they will...

    Oreck Introduces the Elevate Uprights

The control model shares the same guts as any Oreck Classic type machine. The command shares the same guts as an Oreck XL21. The Conquer is the same as the older Pilot series. There is also still going to be a traditional looking classic Oreck similar to the current U2200. These new Elevate units...

    Won an Oreck XL21!

Oreck is getting ready to release redesigned uprights. They are pretty much built around the same platforms. A redesigned classic, XL21, and Pilot. That is the reason for the new bags. Also the old green paper and current white hepa bags will not be forward compatible with the new units as they...

    Pto-Team 1500XP and Perfect DM101 Upright question...

Those must be very generic. The floor head on those models is not the same that comes supplied with the Proteam models. The floor head on Proteam's are much like any Aerus model mainly like the Aerus commercial unit. The main body/bag housing is similar though.

    Pto-Team 1500XP and Perfect DM101 Upright question...

I do have the model with the front and back hepatitis filters. I have not noticed much dust being blown around unless I leave the unit fully upright and it is pointing towards a clump of hair. I will get you some pictures. Anything in particular?

    Pto-Team 1500XP and Perfect DM101 Upright question...

I own the Proteam and I to wondered where it was made. All it says on the id tag is the companies headquarters address. Whether it is Chinese made or not it feels like a very solid machine. I will say it does feel a little more handle heavy than Aerus units but overall it feels like it will...
