    I have a red dirt devil hand vac and the royal prince. a cast aluminamum version of the hand vac. a very smooth sounding motor and you could get them at royal dealers or fancy catalongs. I got mine from ebay for 30 dollars and free shipping. works great.

    the market is very crowded of sanitaire knock offs and many companies that have contracted with eureka too make a commerical machine. the knock off are fun because if you break the fan chamber you have too take out the motor and replace the entire body...if it's genuine eureka its a few screws...

    does it have the adjustable handle and the cloth bag with a paper liner? I had too put a new fan in one once. the local shop wanted too sell me a generic fan....I could see the fan wasen't going too give the factory air flow. there motors are a little bit bigger then the dirt devil hand vacs....

    The most expensive vacuum belt i've ever seen!

    I had a hoover windtunnel for a while that had a very thin belt that was made from stiff rubber...lasted a long time but a bit spendy. my belt for my advance carpetwin 16xp a belt is 20 bucks. my sanitaire vac a dime a dozen...the big O ring style and the dirt has too go over the belt before it...

    I found one once in a trash can. it came with the aftermarket brush roll that had a extra row of brushes. I could never find bags for it. when you pull them across the floor they seem too lift up a bit. like they need a little weight on the front. they almost look oke
