    What's Your Favorite Bagless Vacuum?

Sebofan My G-Tech is the SW18 with germ guard. It has always made what I can only describe as a "ratchety" squealing sound when the brush roll bogs down. I just thought this was normal until I heard my MIL's sweeper, I don't know the model but it's white with coloured dots and a green hand grip...

    What's Your Favorite Bagless Vacuum?

turbomaster1984, I've wanted an Air Ram since they came out but couldn't really justify the price. I too have a G-tech sweeper which I love, however mine has always been very noisy, especially compared to my mother in laws. It does a great job for quick pick ups. Will be good to hear how you get...

    What's Your Favorite Bagless Vacuum?

I've owned several bagless vac's over the years, The Morphy Richards Lift Away (Shark Navigator Lift Away) is by far my favourite so far. It's light, easy to manoeuvre, good at deep cleaning and the lift away canister is very useful. The turbo brush has two rows of red lint catchers. It is by...

    UK MEMBERS - Weekend meetup

Chris I think it's a great idea, a UK mini convention of sorts! I would certainly be interested as long as I have enough time to save up! :-)

    AEG Nimble

Congratulations on your new Nimble. I had the dark grey version for two years and liked it very much apart from a couple of niggles. The power cord drove me mad, very stiff outer coating and it twisted up terribly, so much so the outer cord detached it's self from the body of the cleaner. As...

With Bagless Vacuum Cleaners - do you empty the container after every use or when it gets full?

dysonman1 In the UK every part of the Lift Away is available to buy online on Morphy Richards website. I do agree it's a bit off you can't buy replacement belts or brush roll but the replacement floorhead retails for roughly £33 which isn't too bad. I will say I would never have paid what MRP...

IF Your Daily Driver Could Do Something Extra, What Would It Be?

A shoulder strap would be handy for my M/R Lift Away.

With Bagless Vacuum Cleaners - do you empty the container after every use or when it gets full?

Every bagless cleaner I have had I have always emptied after every use, for one I don't like the dirt sitting in the cleaners container over night, plus I like to see how much dirt I have picked up when I vacuum. My current cleaner's instruction book (Morphy Richards Lift Away Clarity, sold as...

Glade Shake n Vac / Carpet Freshener Powder - Your Opinions?

I read somewhere ( can't remember where ) that Shake n Vac is very bad for pets. They can suffer an allergic reaction if it gets on their paws and is then ingested. Also the overpowering smell is supposed to be bad for their sensitive noses.

    New Hometek Cyclonic Upright HT681

Our local independent retailers has it as the AS25 retailing at £129.99. I did think it was Dyson-esk with elements of Vax. It does feature a multi cyclonic shroud and the brush roll looks pretty decent although I can not comment on how firm the bristles are.

    Regina Brush 'N' Beat Upright

Jake, some definite similarities, especially with the Electrolux 152 which had the handle release pedal in the same position as the Regina. We did have a version of this vacuum in the UK marketed as the Phillips Carpeteer in the 80's. Also sold in Europe under the label Fakir, both these...

Morphy Richards Complete Clean Lift Away

Ultrapeformer Do you mean dirty gets stuck on the piece of plastic connecting the cyclone to the outer wall of the bin? If so, just give the bin assembly a good shake before you empty it, it dislodges the dirt and you never have to touch anything.

Morphy Richards Complete Clean Lift Away

I've had my Morphy Richards lift away for a couple of months now and really like it. I was pretty shocked the first few times I used it how much dirt it pulled out of the carpets, especially as I vacuum every day. The lift away function is a real boon, makes above the floor cleaning a lot easier...

    Daily driver...

I only have one main vacuum. Bought this a month or so ago off Amazon.I bought it after reading reviews of the Shark Navigator Lift Away and watching a few youtube videos. I must say it's a brilliant little cleaner. Far out performs the Nimble I had, I was shocked the first time I used it how...

    My new Hotpoint....

James, Glad you got the bag out! Is the brush roll the same as on the older Navy Blue LnE?

    My new Hotpoint....

Did the candle wax work or did you use something else to unstick the zip?

    My new Hotpoint....

James, I think WD40 may stain the bag. I've tried candle wax on a few stuck zips ( coats and jeans) but never on a zip that old. I hope it works for you.
