Latest Kirby Sentria - Notable Changes

My Grandma and Grandpa bought there Kirby Sentria about a week before Thanksgiving last year. It has this new style emtor as well as the holes on the back. This style has been out for a while. But, it's good to see it's gaining popularity :).

Finally! Got to use a Filter Queen!

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I actually dont live in Eldorado. I passed through it on a cross country trip this summer and thought it would be a good choice to hide my identity for social life purposes. Anyway, how much does the filter queen weigh? Thanks, hopefully you can understand that...

Finally! Got to use a Filter Queen!

How much... Does the average FilterQueen vacuum sell for? Is it pretty much the same price range of a Kirby or Rainbow? ($700-2500). Also, any FilterQueen owners, what is your opinion for the power, soil removal, and filtration compared to a Kirby? I currently have a GSix 2000 Limited Edition...

    Kirby GSix Carpet Shampoo System...

I couldn't make a YouTube video. I would blow my cover that I have worked sooo hard on over these past 14 years hahaha.

    Kirby GSix Carpet Shampoo System...

Hey Logan that will be great when you can make YouTube videos of the shampooer! There really aren't any great ones, and I really want a shampooer.

    Kirby GSix Carpet Shampoo System...

Do any of the club members have an excess of Kirby carpet shampooers laying around that they would be willing to give away? I am looking for one to fit on my GSix. It doesn't have to match it, as long as ita comparable. If it does, then all the better. I have checked eBay, but I figured I may as...

    Stick Vacuums

Also on all the lux's you need to go a little slowly on the backward pass on carpet to get a semi deep clean and not make the lightweight nozzle bounce off the carpet, the back of it will catch a high spot and do this. ~Darren

    Stick Vacuums

I had the pronto 2in1 and I sent it in for the exploding battery recall. They sent me back a 12v ergorapido that was okay on carpet compared to the pronto, but wouldn't charge! So then they sent me the 18v ergorapido. We have two Labrador retrievers and a cat, and low pile carpet. It surface...

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

It was my only choice, I can't buy on eBay and I've only seen a handful in the last four years I've wanted one on Craigslist. It is very smooth, and powerful as you said. ~Darren

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

@twocvbloke Yesss! I know what your talking about! It seems to not really work that well. But, it does do the job slowly. I think I might try mothers and if I can find the other stuff I will try that also. ~Darren

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

Well just hand buffing it with Brasso is doing the job slowly but good. Hopefully in a few more weeks I'll have achieved my stringent expectations with a little polishing work each day :) . ~Darren

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

And yeah I probably will find the hose, and use our dysons tools unless I find a good kit somewhere for a decent price. ~Darren

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

Thanks :) I figured out the guy who sold it to me got it secondhand because the dealer sticker on the back says Petoskey, MI. Which is about 500 or more miles from here. The attachments as well as the rug plate must have been lost somewhere in the chain. All I got was the working machine. ~Darren

    Has anyone tried this?

It works, I put a completely rusted nail in a bottle of Coke for a weekend and it came out shiny. I then rinsed it and it wasn't sticky, while it is a waste and takes too long, it is interesting. I have heard diet Coke works best. Must be all the extra crap they put in it to make it taste decent...

My first Kirby! GSix 2000 Limited Edition!!!

It is a very nice machine. The guy himself didn't smoke, but he had "friends" over all the time that did, of the shady/creepy looking kind. Ah well. It was only $75, he came down from $200. In the 12 year old Whirlpool Gold Series it took an 18 minute SuperWash plus adding more soap during rinse...
