What does your Vacuum Store look like?

I suppose it's possible, However it kind of defeats the purpose of trying it out before you buy, to truly understand what you're getting.

What does your Vacuum Store look like?

I guess I just don't understand.. My local vac shop only carries a select few models of the Riccar brand; no Brilliances or Radiances. Isn't each shop obligated to sell most of the line-up, if not at least the TOL of each machine?, or can they choose to carry whatever they'd like, assuming...

    Aerus Guardian Platinum burning smell

@ctvacman That 15+ years is definitely a good peace of mind. Does anybody have any experience dealing with Ray Saterwhite in Va? He seems to advertise the brand quite a bit on youtube, and seems like a decent guy to buy a machine from.

    cloth or paper bags

Cloth bags all the way.. With some machines, cloth (synthetic (hepa material) bags is the only option offered. They definitey allow the vacuum to breathe easier, providing stronger airflow and better overall performance it seems. They also retain the dust like no other. I used to use cheap paper...

    Aerus Guardian Platinum burning smell

Good point.. I didn't know their electronics were made by another company, I'm guessing that for me, it wouldn't be a good idea to buy this machine as preowned, since I literally would probably have no warranty to fix issues like this. You should be fine though, they probably have the one of...

    Aerus Guardian Platinum burning smell

How in the world does a mother board fry so soon on such a relatively new vacuum? I don't get it.. I was contemplating on whether to buy this one or not.. but seems like it might have a little too many bells and whistles, good luck with your machine.

Concerned with a possible air leak, advice appreciated

Hey all, Today when vacumming with my Riccar Vibrance, I noticed something of what could be a possible air leak. It happens at the point where the hose cuff meets the hose handle which connects into the aluminum wand. You can definitely hear and feel air in this area (as the vacuum is on and...

    Riccar canisters

    Riccar canisters

Good point.. Never thought of it that way..Would you say that the Prima is phasing out the full sized canister line? That one isn't a bad choice though.

    Riccar canisters

Does anybody know if Riccar's canister line is due in for an update anytime soon? (Not including Prima)

Clearing up Confusion on Riccar Tandem Air Uprights

Thanks for all the great information guys.. I knew that the Radiance was due in for an update, but never knew it was already in the works. My favorite is the R30, and Riccar vacuums in general. I couldn't agree with you more, Dysonman, the Riccars are very classy/elegant machines which I love...

Clearing up Confusion on Riccar Tandem Air Uprights

Ok, so I've been really debating on whether I should replace either my Kirby G3 or Hoover Self Propelled (going on 10 years as my daily driver vac) with either a Riccar Radiance Premium, or Brilliance R30. I'm just confused on some of the features, and whether or not it's worth to spend close to...

    Any Feedback, please??

Just a very big shout-out and thanks to Tom for all his patience answering my questions about the machine. I decided to order. I'm excited... my first Tacony machine.

    Any Feedback, please??

Thanks for your input Colby, I really like how they have updated this one versus the older Vibrance Models, I heard that it was redesigned to help increase airflow, amongst many other things, which is a major plus. Looks like this might be a good replacement for the older 8955 model.

    Any Feedback, please??

I'd defniltey like to hear Tom Gasko's opinion on the new Riccar R20UP. I'm definitely considering this same, exact machine. I've been having trouble reaching him at the factory outlet during those times lately.

    Simplicity 7850

The 7 series definitely seemed like a true workhorse, I'm guessing this one wouldn't be any different, I love how they put a longer hose for sure. As far as the lifetime belt is considered, they are definitely starting to incorporate this in all of the models. I've never had a...
