AP-100 motor bearing , how to replace?

MadMan After reading your comment, I simply cannot let your false claims and faulty reasoning stand. Since you probably have never taken a college level "statics and strengths of materials" class or something similar, you seriously have no idea what you are talking about. For good measure...

AP-100 motor bearing , how to replace?

MadMan, You Are 100% Wrong And I have all the tests to prove it! Namely, before and after motor RPM (loaded and unloaded), motor current draw and of course nozzle CFM. It's plain Physics dude. Think about it. If I can remove a bearing with a bearing puller placing all the force on ONLY the...

    Kirby G4 Armature

Very Fine Sandpaper And/Or Polishing Stone are what I've been using for years to clean/polish my commutators. Cleans the carbon build up off and trues up the surface so that the carbon brushes spark less and make a better contact which gives a higher rotational speed. Anthony, I don't...

AP-100 motor bearing , how to replace?

I Repack Bearings Regularly And... "Re-seating" them can be as simple as using a socket that matches the outer diameter of the bearing. Getting rusted bearings off might require an inexpensive bearing puller. I paid $7 for mine a few months ago. Check out this video around the 7 minute mark to...

    Sanitaire S675A video review

The Envirocare Bags Were Paper So the paper shredded apparently over time. The HEPA Envirocare bags I reviewed were CLOTH, not paper. Bill

Rainbow Silver Hose With Gold Canister Body And PN?

So I'm told that when the E2 series debuted (1 speed or 2 speed), the only hoses that were available with it were not gold/brown colored. They were only grey/silver? If this is true, does anybody know why Rainbow would intentionally mis-match the gold/brown canister and power nozzle with a...

Working water lift vacuum test gauge explained.

Proper AirWatts Suction And Airflow Explanation Working waterlift is meaningless for cleaning dry particulate. Water lift is meant for lifting WATER as the name implies. If one needs to move water (via suction), then water lift is meaningful. Water lift (aka suction) is a pressure. It is not a...

    Wanted: Kirby 500505G 13" Brushroll

I have a D80 with the single row brushroll and want to see how the dual row brushroll would perform. The only issue is, everyone seems to be out of them currently. I have found a good price on one at Hesco: https://www.hescoinc.com/kirby-brush-roll-heritage-1hdd80-small-head-genuine-500505 BUT...

Your Opinion: Most Powerful Electrolux/Aerus Lux to look for

My Best Guess With The 12 Amp Motor was a drop in type from a Perfect C103 canister. It's the only reference I can find for an Electrolux canister motor that was rated for 1400+ Watts. Bill

Your Opinion: Most Powerful Electrolux/Aerus Lux to look for

Hi Bill, It's Bill For the Marquise 1521 8.4 Amp (standard motor) I've measured: Using HEPA bags Canister End = 103 CFM Hose End (Vinyl) = 84.8 CFM Nozzle (spinning) = 69.3 CFM These are the only two Luxes I've tested other than the aforementioned hot-rodded 12 Amp Marquise. Bill

    Amodel

I've had to change several grey Lexan fans due to shattering and excessive cracking. No issues so far and as you know, I just completed a refurb on a Dual Sanitronic 80. I definitely vote for the white Amodel fan. Bill

2003 Miele Solaris S514 Airflow Losses

Sure, I Have Many Reasons BTW, I'm at 837 feet above sea level, so based on: http://www.asesystems.com/vacuum-lifters/the-effect-of-atmospheric-pressure-on-vacuum-level/ The differences would be much greater (>13%) than what's been discussed here so far, assuming no other mitigating factors...

Your Opinion: Most Powerful Electrolux/Aerus Lux to look for

Most Powerful Canister I've Ever Measured... Is just as Blackheart (Devin) said: a hot-rodded (12 Amp motor swap) Electrolux Marquise 1521. Using a HEPA bag I tested: Canister = 146 CFM Hose = 115 CFM Nozzle = 88 CFM
