    Should I think about oiling the motor bearing ?

    You just need to wait until the motor is noisy and dry-sounding. Try running the motor without the belt on it and listen to see if it makes any strange noises. If it does, you should lubricate the bearings.

    I forgot to mention . . . that only the 1030 has the speed switch that was discussed in the thread about the bottom bearings.

    There is no basis that you necessarily need to follow for greasing these machines. Just listen to the machine and if it is making strange noises, go ahead and grease the brushroll and motor bearings.
