Dyson Radial Root Cyclone Doesn't Work Very Well!

Quote Marcus: in fact I think I should start a website for dyson lovers :-) We did that already. I must admit, I am no fan of the 40/41/50 though. The DC07/14 are capable machines. From there it started going downhill. The 40 has design faults more serious than a leaky filter...

Does anyone have a Hoover Constellation Floor Head for Sale?

I am having difficulty finding a floor head though. I was thinking I might pick a few of these up and we could sell a few of them as retro updated refurbs, rewired with later hoses and tools. I might get a head that way. Do any later Hoover hoses fit these does anyone know please?

Does anyone have a Hoover Constellation Floor Head for Sale?

I recently acquired a rather tidy Constellation 867A, along with a brush and crevice tool. But it has no cleaner head/floor tool. Does anyone have one for sale? Also, did they have a stair tool? And did they have any storage for the tools or not?

    Dyson cinetic big ball

Four hundred and sixty quid? I think I'll keep my DC14.

some thing went arye vintage hoover constellations

So I found a Constellation down in Essex a chap had advertised. £32 inc delivery with various tools, bags etc with it. It looks quite straight from the photos and runs. Doesn't seem a lot of money to tinker with a golden oldie.

some thing went arye vintage hoover constellations

I wanted one of these, there was one on eBay a few days ago that I bunged £40 on. I didn't win it. I wasn't sure of the values, I just thought it worth a punt at £40. What is a nice one worth in the UK?

    Daily driver?

A DC14 from a batch of new ones we were selling a while back, and an iRobot Roomba. I also have the fan to match the blue DC14 and an Airblade in the downstairs bathroom in the Dyson family. I am musing on the idea of the 360 Dyson robot.

Dyson DC28 Question for American Members

I thought so too, but I didn't want to advertise them in the US as fitting the DC28 until one of the forum gurus from over the pond confirmed it. There may be other models too that I am unfamiliar with. Dyson tend to add a letter to a completely different model - example being the DC33c...

MUST see this mans views on dyson

The bloke is using it for stuff a DC14 would be better suited to. They are designed for zapping around wooden floors and the like in apartments, not cleaning up detritus from rabbits. People make the mistake - probably because of the marketing - if thinking they can use hand-helds like...

    new dyson

It *may* be the case with the very new ones, but every DC41 we have seen has the same Johnson motor in as the DC25 up to now. But really, that is the least of the DC41's problems. We wont sell them reconned any more as the build quality is so dire they are uneconomical to do and a...

    new dyson

Parwaz said: My DC25 head motor burnt out, but apparently the new brushbar motors have been improved Not the case. The DC41 shares the brushbar motor with the DC25.

Dyson DC28 Question for American Members

Happy new year to all! A question for those familiar with American model Dysons. The attached photo is of a new wand cable swivel we have that fits the DC15, DC24, DC25, DC27 and DC33. We know what UK models it fits, but I want to know if it fits any of the specific overseas models. Do...

    My Dyson DC04 De Stijl

Dysonboy, we get a lot of the DC41's in for repair, and to be honest, I think they are dreadful. The cleanerheads use the same motor as the DC25, but they have a design fault in that the middle wheel comes out, the housing wears and the head glues itself to the floor. The only remedy is a new...

    Dyson DC02 Recyclone...

Its a long time since I saw one of those in the flesh. I *think* I may have a brush and crevice for one of those in case you are missing any.

    My Dyson DC04 De Stijl

Its certainly rare to have the box, yes. Shame about the wand, nice ones of those are getting scarce. Actually, we have just started building a DC04 De Stijl to hang onto for the future, as we did a while ago with a DC01. Photo attached of where it is up to today. Build documented in the...

    Anyone recognise these bent ends?

OBSOLESCENCE . It how company makes money they cant make parts for old machines for ever . They don't care about collectors its your job to stock up on parts while they are available. Company's would go out of business catering to a few vacuum collectors. Dan is correct above as well. ...

    Anyone recognise these bent ends?

Back in my retail days we would often find boxes upon boxes of obsolete spares while stocktaking, which had been ordered over-enthusiastically long ago by previous staff members. We knew they were never going to sell anytime soon, and were only taking up valuable space in the warehouse (not to...

    Anyone recognise these bent ends?

One of the lads on the counter bagged me a handful before they went. I've got about ten. If any of you chaps want one, you only need cover the postage. I am happy to pass them on to folk who want one as a one off. Use the link to shoot me a mail if you want one. ...

    Anyone recognise these bent ends?

I just heard back from the owner of said items. He said they were for Australian machines similar to Electrolux, and are about twenty years old. I guess he has had them long enough so they are going.
