Dyson DC28 Question for American Members

Happy new year to all!

A question for those familiar with American model Dysons.

The attached photo is of a new wand cable swivel we have that fits the DC15, DC24, DC25, DC27 and DC33. We know what UK models it fits, but I want to know if it fits any of the specific overseas models.

Do any of the US models we don't get here such as the DC28 share the same upper wand cord retaining clip with the 15/24/25/27/33?

The DC28 looks the same in photos, but I need to know from guys that actually know; hence the question.

The DC17 looks to have an offset clip like the DC18 from photos.

Any other models this clip fits please?

I'm not Americam, but I am almost certain that the DC27 and DC28 use some parts which are the same, such as the cyclone and the wand

I thought so too, but I didn't want to advertise them in the US as fitting the DC28 until one of the forum gurus from over the pond confirmed it. 


 


There may be other models too that I am unfamiliar with. Dyson tend to add a letter to a completely different model - example being the DC33c sold in mainland Europe that is a cylinder.
