    Sebo or Panasonic?

Personally... I'd go for the MC-UG583 (link below), it's based on an older design that has been on the market for years and I really can't find any fault with it. Panasonic VS Sebo really comes down to what you're going to be doing with it, the Sebo is going to be a much more versatile machine...

2 HILARIOUS videos from same guy

Mark... I understand fully and have come to expect from this board that many will say much worse. Just because I don't see and don't berate for it doesn't mean I don't condemn it. Just as people saying worse than you doesn't excuse what you say. I just find it a bit ludicrous how many on this...

2 HILARIOUS videos from same guy

Class... And tact from the members of VL as usual... A bit condescending from a guy running a vacuum museum, another with a Betty Page photo as his icon, and another that has a thing for big unrefined boats that are "classic" American vehicles... *slow clap*

Help me decide on a new Vacuum cleaner please

Some Additional Info... Here's a video showing the many configurations that the Quickstep can be adapted to. It's a long video, but worth watching. http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAaymHfB9ws

Help me decide on a new Vacuum cleaner please

For something a bit different... I'd suggest getting a Miele QuickStep and equipping it with a Twister XL bare floor head and the SEB236 powerhead. It's light, easy to handle, and with an optional hose it can easily be used for above floor/upholstery cleaning.

    NOS/NIB Heritage II?

Does any one know what happened to the listing for these? I checked not too long ago and there were still a few left. I was planning on buying one for someone for Christmas, but I can't find them now. Just curious if they've all been sold or if the listing just ended and hasn't been reposted yet.

which is better dual cyclone or root cyclone

I may just be very biased, but I'd say dual cyclone. When well engineered I've found dual cyclone machines to filter better than cheap multi cyclonic machines. IMHO once you get past 2 cyclones I think it simply impedes airflow and creates unnecessary and unpleasant noise.

    New Fantom Fury

Kirbyvertibles... The Dual Cyclones should be easily be able to keep fine powder and dust, including things like Capture off the SS mesh filter. If you're finding high amounts of dust on it like you say you are, then you're most likely missing a seal or have a damaged seal in the canister.

    Top care eureka belts Junk?

You... Can for the most part get away with generic flat belts, however when it comes to round belts ALWAYS use genuine. Nothing will last as long.

Fair asking price for Kirby G-4?

This... G4 on Ebay has been refurbished and come with a 5 year motor guarantee through the seller. I wouldn't get overly optimistic about how much it'll sell for, but your best bet is on CraigsList less competition and harder to compare prices for the buyer...

    Bare floor brushes

I... Think the Wessel Werk Turn & Clean may, but I'm not sure. GoVacuum should be able to tell you if it will or not. Only catch is it would at most only be able to support the wand, the hose would have to be detached.

Help! Shopping for New Vacuum and Overwhelmed

KirbyLoverDan... Yes, Miele has made machines in China. They however don't anymore, and haven't for years. Even the S2 series that is cheaper than the S20 is made in Germany.

Help! Shopping for New Vacuum and Overwhelmed

Was... The essay on Sears Kenmore really necessary? Yes, the new machines are horrid quality wise many people have posted that information many times, most all are familiar with the concept. Only reason I brought them up is they are one of the most known canister brands on the market. My point...

Help! Shopping for New Vacuum and Overwhelmed

Durango... Regardless of what Royal has done to improve the S20, a plastic Chinese disgrace like that should NOT be selling in the price point it is... That should be about a $200-$300 machine max to compete with the high end Sears Kenmore machines. Even Miele manages to make a machine cheaper...

    My New Aerus Vacuums

Uhhh.... Hasn't this machine been out for a few years as the Sauber Intelligence? Not only that weren't there claims of unreliability and electrical problems? More information would be appreciated. http://www.sauber.com.au/intelligence.php

NYCWriter "Based On" meaning the same machine with a different colored plastic and different PN. Stories and reports of circuit board failure are everywhere. Go to reply 185 by KirbyLux77 for more info. They may look like a Miele but they'll never come close.

Help! Shopping for New Vacuum and Overwhelmed

I... Don't know if this had been brought up before, but the S20 is based on the Hoover WindTunnel anniversary edition canister. Which has been plagued by electrical problems.
