Fair asking price for Kirby G-4?

I am going to be selling a Kirby G-4, either locally or on Ebay. Just wondered what a fair asking price for it in good used condition with no tools, etc., just the vac.

G4 on Ebay has been refurbished and come with a 5 year motor guarantee through the seller. I wouldn't get overly optimistic about how much it'll sell for, but your best bet is on CraigsList less competition and harder to compare prices for the buyer.

my vac store guy says he sells them for $140-175 depending on how much he feels like cleaning it up or how much work went into it. Frankly I'd never in my wildest imagination pay more than $500 for any Kirby....that said a shiny used G4 WITH attachments would probably go for $4-500. Attachments make the deal.

Hi All i would buy that G4 right away if i didnt have one as well as a G3,4,5,6.In fact i bought the G3 that i have from vacstars. It looked like it just came from the factory. They do very good work. Good luck Doug

I got it listed on Ebay. I went a bit lower than the one you linked, but not too much since it does have the rug shampooer/rug restorer.

Certainly not trying to get rich on this one, just would like to get it to a good home.
