I've been advised.... By someone much more in the know that a vibragroomer 1 with square end caps would work in this machine well. Any thoughts on this? One of the things I like about collecting is posting questions and seeking out information when something new comes along, such as this...

Good idea,,, Is the bag in that listing original to that machine or is it a replacement? I thought I had found a series 2000 Eureka brush roll with square ends but it wasn't what they thought. The hunt is part of the fun right??

Thanks for the information! The brushroll I have had a cracked plastic end so I will either need a new roll Or square end pieces, I believe I found the handle grip, I will know more tomorrow!! Tough brushroll to find I am learning.

And upon further inspection... I want to replace the brush roll, the 12" distributor with square pegs on each end. That will be a little tougher, any leads or suggestions on this or the above post is greatly appreciated!

My understanding is that the bag on this vac is a Eureka replacement bag. I am looking for an original blue bag with white lettering possibly a cord and the grip handle to restore this back to its vintage glory! Found it at a thrift sale, the pic is pretty dirty, it will get the spa treatment...

Can the motor of the Silverado be used in a Golden J? I believe the Silverado were more powerful motors and I think the Golden J needs a boost.

Not needing this machine, it was too sweet to pass up and it is a work horse! The problem is I cannot determine what model I have, it is one of the 1521 models so I did some research here but can't determine if this is a Grand Marquise, Legacy or other model. I cannot locate a pic of one that...

Well a few weeks ago I got by the Electrolux bug. I am fascinated with their history and now I must find a model G like in the Vac picture of the day today. How can you go all this time without needing/wanting a particular model and than decide it is must have?
