Oh I should mention, the rocker switch was feeling a bit flaky when I used it a couple times previously. So I'm not sure if its something to do with the switch or brush. I would push the rocker switch to first and then second, it was hesitate in switching over. I'm wondering about this part now...

The brushes have stopped working, what usually causes this? I was using it on my hardwood prior to sweeping, I turn it off and turn it back on and they're dead. Yes I just got this vacuum, haha!

Dirt Devil Brum, I purchased one of these a few years ago, its neat and works OK for what it is. Does anyone here own one? It seems like they fizzled out fairly quickly, the battery seems to not hold up much anymore, not sure if there is a way to replace it?
