Is this normal for my Miele?

@sebo_fan Oooops, you're right bud, I meant to say air clean, not active. Me bad!!

Is this normal for my Miele?

Normal carbon brush dust My Miele S4 the active air clean filter has done the same. Remember, the brushes have to seat themselves, but one must also realise that this is a single stage motor that spins 1.5-2 times faster than a two stage motor, so there will be more carbon brush dust wear.

    Plastic body Electrolux canister switch

First off, the electrical switch did not have a high rate of failure!! The problem lies in the Rocker Arm and or Switch Button. The earlier rocker arms had a low rise, whereas the later models had a high rise to them. Yes, both of these are available. If it actually happens to be the...

Electrolux 1205 replacement motors - more powerful?

Motor Specs Here are the specs on the motor you have listed in your link, model 6500-301: Lift 79.7 CFM 99.1 Airwatts 286. These motors are made by the former electrolux motor manufacturing plant that was sold off in the early 2000's when the current powers that be decided to liquidate...

My Lux is turning itself off during regular vacuuming???

I second what the Zach man has advised as well. Also, sometimes the vac lines that connect to the full bag indicator can become clogged and or the actual valve itself the rubber and or plastic can become brittle and crack and cause problems.

    LUX suction

@venson Nice to see you on this site. Haven't seen or heard Carmen comment on the other site for quite some time. Haven't chatted with you for a while either. We need more individuals here like yourself whom have well thought out, almost scientific evidence, conversations/advice. Me, like...

    LUX suction

@Real1 Go to a vac shop, or look on line to purchase a suction/waterlift gauge. That will tell you how strong the motor is pulling. But be forewarned, you will get different ratings with the same motors (standard deviation), plus atmospherice pressure will cause differences, plus the amount...

i got a problem with my ambassador iii white and blue

Potential problems: 1. Does the on/off switch make the snap/snap noise?? 2. As mentioned above, is the bag covering the bag lockout switch? 3. As mentioned above, cord problems: plug that goes into the wall, or contacts inside the cordwinder?? The ambassador is a very simple machine to work...

    Can I???

Is it the E2000 series?? If it is the E2000 series, the fan bearing can be replaced, not a problem. The armature, nope, unless you find someone with old stock. (Or, if you take it to a motor rewinding company they probably could help) The sleeve bearing can be lubed quite easily. (Don't think...

Electrolux / Perfect / Miele Questions...

Answer to question #1 Yes, the electrolux sidekick will fit onto the handle of the perfect power team canister. BUT, be careful. The electrical contacts on the perfect hose may not line up "perfectly" with the sidekick. They could be out by say 1/32 of an inch, in which case the sidekick...

    Canadian Electrolux 86

Zach, Aerus no longer supplies hoses for the 80 series canisters. If your dealer says he has them, it's one of two things: 1) the dealer has custom made one, like Gary and myself have done, or 2) it is old stock. Vernon

    Epic 6000 parts

Part Available Bimmer740 Try Aerus directly for the part Original part# 45298 Don't know if you can still get the original color or not, an Aerus dealer would have to enter the part number into their F.O.A.S. system to see if it is still available. If not available the system will most...

    Rug Doctor: I AM AMAZED!

The EDIC Galaxy will have about 35% more suction, 135 inches of lift vs 101, also, the Galaxy can be bought with either a 50 or 100 psi pump, vs about 28 for the rug doctor. Also, the Galaxy has as an optional 1200 watt external heater. If you're considering moving up from the Rug Doctor to...

    Re built model 89 Electrolux..

The 80 series Luxes were probably one of the better all around units, well ahead of their time in my opinion. As the Aerus slogan goes, building the best vacs of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Well, they're right in that respect as the 80's series were the best then, today, and probably in the...
