Like the look of the Dyson, I think the current UltraOne looks nicer than these new ones I'm not keen on this new angular styling that AEG seem to be going for now with the UltraCaptic and now this. I might snap up one of the current ones if they reduce them.

How do you make the bins less cloudy, my Dyson looks so old when its only about 6 months old?

How did the hair get past the pre-motor filter? I wonder if it was used without one in place and that's what has caused the problem? I don't know how you have the patience Sam lol

I fear by the time you buy all the parts you could of just brought a complete second hand machine for less money but I suppose you have the feeling of building it yourself just budget wisely. :)

I've noticed the Japanese get so many really cool looking vacuums if we only had a fraction of what they got here in the UK I would be very poor very quickly!!!

I have the Electrolux Workzone and agree its brilliant but we have a Mini and a Citroen DS3 and I have to clean the entire car with the hose as the main powerhead is a bit too bulky for all the contours plus the leather seats might scuff with the main head :(

I agree with Sam they do look a bit on the cheap side, but I will be intrested in hearing your thoughts on the kit when you've had chance to use I've it. I've been tempted to get the extra Dyson tools myself but resisted so far!

Chris I agree with you about the Nimble I have put salt on the floor to test the agitation and the salt did bounce about, it also lifts the carpet pile nicely but after a few months I don't think the cyclone is too great as the filter is getting a good covering every month but overall I like it...

Yep and the Freemotion, Freemotion just pips it for me as the floorhead is more unusual and I like the pearl effect finish but both stunning looking!

That's the direction I'm moving in, exception being my Hoovers but I only got them because they are probably the most stylish vacuums I've ever seen and I think their worth hanging onto for the future. Dan
