    Dale Skaggs has passed

The owner of Allen County Sweeper is no longer with us. The vintage vacs have been spared from the dumpster. Unfortunately the vast bone yard of the facility has been junked. Dale's brother Dwayne can be reached at 260-824-4020 for date and time of availability. Dwayne does not know exactly...

    Do you iron?????

Weaving is a has a long learning curve.. which is one of the reasons I got involved with it. I am a neophyte weaver. I am an accomplished knitter on the Passap and Superba 5mm gauge machines as well as hand knitting and the Bond knitting frame. I sew and draft patterns. The weaving is on hold...

    Do you iron?????

Fred, I have iron envy! The Miele is beautiful. I am a weaver, machine knitter, hand knitter, quilter and garment designer so I use an iron a lot. I have my grandmother's heavy old GE spray, a couple of Rowentas (overpriced in my opinion) and a Eurosteam with a self contained mini-boiler, which...

What innovations have made Vacuum Cleaners clean better and what are the best examples of these?

Clean better... can mean absolute most removal of dirt/debris, or it can mean most removed for time/energy spent. The original Hoover Junior is hard to beat for most dirt removed for least effort expended and least energy consumed

TO BE INTRODUCED IN JANUARY, AERUS GUARDIAN PLATINUM.

Aerus most empahtically does NOT do R&D... I was the branch manager of the Electrolux branch in Ft. Wayne, IN from 1998 to 2002. I was there for the demise of the Electrolux name. I am the only person ever in the company history to address the engineering team, at the behest of James McCain...

    Tristar GTO 108

Cool! If the suction motor is 10.8 when added to the draw of the p/n motor, does that mean you have to be careful of where you plug it in to keep a breaker from tripping?

If you could design a vacuum...

The duct hose... on the Dial-a-matic is small in diameter for its purpose

    longer central vac hose

Does the Royal use... Vacu-Flo proprietary inlets, which differ from industry standard?  If you have standard inlets you can get a 10 foot electric hose extension from MD. I am also pretty sure you could order an electric 40 foot hose. Or you could look into a Hose Doc-It that stores 55 ft of...

    Incontinent Gisowatt Hydra

A separater based water filtration cleaner.. Has a dish like projection with flat bottom and parallel slits cut all the way around its circumference. The suction inlet pushes the water in the tank away from the inlet, and the spinning dish keeps the water out of the motor while the slits allow...

If you could design a vacuum...

Another... A Hoover Dial-A-Matic with a proper diameter duct hose and a Celebrity motor for suction, a P/N motor to drive the agitator, and Windtunnel design in the nozzle.

    Incontinent Gisowatt Hydra

First question.. Is the Gisowatt a separator based machine? If not, the Rainbow, or any separator machine is unlikely to provide any clues.

Is it possible to use any shampoo solution on a Kirby G series?

As proof... that extraction type shampoos should not be used in the Kirby shampooer, Kirby now makes a solution for extraction type machines.

TO BE INTRODUCED IN JANUARY, AERUS GUARDIAN PLATINUM.

Mark.. I was referring to interchangeable brush rolls, from the side without using any tools, like the Sebo, Windsor, some Lindhaus, and the new Hoover Insight and Profile.

    LATEST VACS/New

It looks like... they put a bag in a bagless design. What is the bag capacity?
