    NIB Eureka Mighty Mite One

Actually.....Thats not the first. The first from 1982 was in a deeper orange red color, and the end the appear to be black are actually a very dark brown color that Eureka called "Mocha". The orange was the same orange as the model 1780 Vactronic canister from the same time. I have one of the...

    A good haul this weekend

acutally.... Eureka paper bags were alot different then they are now. There were 2, rather thick layers. You might also notice the inside of the bag is lined with with a filter like material fused to the other side of the fabric, hence being triple filter.

    A good haul this weekend

Congrats! On the elusive Vanguard. There were two model numbers for that machine, 2080 Which was for the painted hood, and 2081 for the chrome hood. The Vangaurd was introduced in 1969, and ended in 1972. Yours should be dated under the base, there should be a little circle with the last two...

    Jumped off the fence

the models.... 516-561 all basically had the same bag. The base material is kind of colored like denim, and has the large Kirby logo in the middle. I have been told in the past that there were a few minute differences. Here is what it looked like.

    Hoover Concept One green

That was one of.... If not the last Hoover Concept One. Dates from the early 90s. The attachment set is very late too, Hoover cheapened things so terribly by this point. I have also seen one similar in all black. I don't remember the difference between this teal model and the black, but it was...

    My 1st Rug Renovator!

1st off...My name is Jae.... 2nd off. The safety switch on a Classic omega and on a Heritage II are in two totally different configurations. So thus, this Rug renovator set is not suitable for a Classic Omega.

    Top fill Convertible

interesting thing is... That long after the fill tube had been redesigned, and the bag collar changed. Generic companies still produced the old style rounded bottom bag collar on the generic off brand type A bags, companies like K Mart, HomeCare, Blue Lusture, DVC, Sears. Even still today when...

    Top fill Convertible

actually your new convertible is from 1985... Also, no one has mentioned the year or the early incarnation of the Type A bag. The type A system was intoduced in 1977 with the new Convertibles model U4101, and U4103 Estate. These and all other top fill Convertibles used a slide in type A fill...

    A Rare Convertible Model!

actually the last metal... Convertibles were in the set after this, from 1977, 1978, 1979. Hoover went plastic in 1979. Also in 1976, all the Convertibles still has rear conversion, again, front conversion was not introduced until 1977, along with the new square handle, and couture handle grip...
