Has anyone ever seen a Rexair CSD

I just saw this again, they did indeed dip the entire machine in the water. I have no idea what they changed inside the machine, as you can't do this with a regular brushless motor E Series.

Has anyone ever seen a Rexair CSD

I've only seen the things online. I believe this machine is special order for those customers only, and I can't even get my hands on any literature. You don't dip the entire machine in the water, just the lower half of the machine with the separator and HEPA filter removed as I understand it...

    vintage rainbow tool question

Some time in the mid 60s I believe. The first one they used was the L shaped one with the headlight, like one of those Lady Kenmore Whispertones used, they used the matching hose with the plastic machine end connector changed out for a Rainbow hose end and added a pigtail to plug it in. The...

    Good Powerhead Cainster?

Exactly, the bottom plate on the Tri-Star bottom plate sticks out further than the Eureka's so the beater bars can't even begin to touch the carpet. You get much better grooming and pickup with a 4 row than you do with a beater bar brush. I've even noticed on Sanitaire and Hoover uprights that...

    Kirby Generation 3 Vacuum Cleaner

@john.... i have interest in it, just not from you @dallas.... if you have interest in it, keep the damn thing and stop shoving it on the rest of us. You have been posting about this stupid Kirby ever since you joined the forum, and no one has claimed it yet. Clearly there isn't anyone...

    Kirby Generation 3 Vacuum Cleaner

I agree, its clear that no one really wants to buy it from you... Annoying everyone about it just makes them dead set on not being interested.

    Good Powerhead Cainster?

About using Eureka brushrolls in Tri-Star nozzles. If you have a Tri-Star that has a metal plate on top of the P/N, it was not a Eureka made head, it was made by Interstate (who made the Compact/Tri-Star), and even though the Eureka brushroll physically fits the bristles aren't long enough to...

    Good Powerhead Cainster?

The problem with the Hoover is that they no longer make any parts for that machine, so if you wear the brush strips out you can't get any more.
