    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

luxman107, I realize this is an old thread, but I am looking to buy the Lux Platinum and am wondering if you can put me in touch with the Aerus guy in Orlando who can sell it to me for a competitive price. I clicked on your profile but it is not displaying your email address. I was just quoted...

Renaissance oem to aftermarker motor retrofit?

As many of you know from my recent posts I am in the process of replacing the original motor on my 18-year-old Electrolux Renaissance C104A. Aerus wanted an insane $250 for the replacement part, so I ordered an aftermarket model. As you can see from the attached pics, the aftermarket model...

Renaissance triac replacement. I'm being told I have to replace both the canister and handle boards

Thanks for the response. I replaced the original hose carcass about 6 months ago with a genuine version, as it was only $20 more than the non-genuine. The hose handle is still all original. I'm just going to replace the canister board first and, if the other one does fail, I'll replace it then.

Renaissance triac replacement. I'm being told I have to replace both the canister and handle boards

After installing the new motor (aftermarket model, Aerus wanted an insane $250), I...

Electrolux Renaissance motor plastic shroud removal

Thanks all for the assistance. I was able to basically pry it off...kind of like using a manual non-crank can opener. Then I ran into another problem which I am posting a new thread for.

Electrolux Renaissance motor plastic shroud removal

Hello. I am in the process of replacing the motor from my 1995 Electrolux Renaissance C104A. The motor has a black plastic shroud covering it that I can't seem to remove. There are no screws holding it on, so I assume it snaps on somehow. I've tried a flathead screwdriver but I can't seem to...

How do you open an Electrolux Renaissance canister?

Hello. This is my first post. The motor on my Electrolux Renaissance C104A from 1995 just burnt up. It started making a "howling" noise and then I smelled burning and saw a small wisp of smoke come from the machine. Although I do have an Aerus dealer in the area, I would like to replace it...
