The Vorwerk from California has arrived!

I came home from the hospital today (long story) to find a Sebi Felix box containing a disassembled Vorwerk. Once I get some pictures I will add them here. I really would have liked to get the Junior 115 or the Lark, but Jason Huber got the Junior, and Austin got the Lark. I should have checked...

    <font color=green> New FairFax

I have a few questions for anyone who might have some knowledge about the FairFax vacuums that are currently beeing made and sold. I recently got my hands on one that is about 1 1/2 years old, and it has the Douglas power nozzle on it. I have not been able to find anything that even mentions the...

    Riccar #1950

Daewoo... I wondered who was making those in Korea.

    Riccar #1950

I dont know about the early models, but today's Riccars are all designs owned/made by Riccar.

    Classic Eureka Self Propelled

I have always liked those Eureka uprights, the blue beeing my favorite. I currently have a brown/dark orange colored one. It is in good shape, but someone put a singe speed motor in it...

    Riccar #1950

Certain variations of these Riccars did have more features, this was just the lower end of the line. They had a model in the same color with all of the other features, including switch in the handle.

    Is this a good vacuum?

guess I would either let her user her idea of a "vacuum" and then just use mine over the area later, or just have her do everything but the vacuuming (it's not the vacuuming I dislike doing). Another option would be to toss out the Regina and buy a decent but inexpensive cleaner, such as the...

    New Hoover Stainless Steel Constellation

How to disassemble a Concept One ?

A question for Concept experts I have the same model as Pete here, who by the way did a very good job cleaning his up, but on my the headlights quit working. They used to light up when I first got the machine, but after the bulbs went out I have not been able to get any new bulbs to work in...

    New Hoover Stainless Steel Constellation

I guess when the Constellation was first re-introduced, I was under the impression that there was going to be a version with the electric power nozzle, I guess my source was incorrect. Either way, it is a pretty decent little canister, perfect for what Ross needs.

    The Dirt Hunter

That is a very interesting cleaner, I have to admit I haven't seen one under that name. The other ones I have seen are either GE, Premier, or Whirlwind.

    Car Wash Vacuums

Units like the one pictured use Lamb motors, and can be run on regular 240V current. I personally love those Spencer Turbine units, I guess it al fits with the rest of my CVS obsession. :)

    Car Wash Vacuums

I guess it all depends on what type of carwash vacuum you are dealing with. Most full service (other people work for you) have eithere a Spencet system or something similar to it. Typically the coin-op single user machines will have 2 7.2in Lamb peripheral bypass motors, usually 240V.

    Car Wash Vacuums

Well I typically use the central vac (same thing really) and it actually has about the same power.
