There's been quite a few out there. at work we have a machine similar to this It's a strange thing. It's battery powered and It's brush spins backwards and the bin is on the back so things to travel up and over the brush to reach the bin. I did like our old one better which had a front mounted...
I may be mistaken here but are you thinking of the Powr-flite PF62EC, and the Tornado CK LW 13/1 based of the Bissell prolite design? I know it was also sold under the Fuller brush name and even as a Pirahna. I wasn't aware they did sell them under Cleanmax or Carpet pro but it would make sense...
Speaking of this company. I came across an interesting design sold through Nacecare which had a manually powered vacuum system, after doing some searching I found another manual powered vacuum design. It's a neat concept and while I'm sure the vacuum system isn't too great it's mostly just there...
🤦♂️Ya know....If i paid more attention to the locations of other members I'd have more answers.
Yes I'm aware the motors were different Phil, I've had a princess II open before which was super basic and just used a 2 wire motor. I was just pointing out how strange it was for a model to not...
Was hers lacking a 2 speed switch? I feel like all door to door model have had them at least back to the model 31 possibly even before that. The offshoot models like the princess and optima were lacking them.
I do think you're correct about the MicroBX coating, pretty sure I've seen that...
Yeah unfortunately Ebay doesn't have an option for large envelope that I saw so that was.....OH you're in NZ no wonder. Not that it matters now someone really wanted them and bought the lot.
I'm guessing so? This design cuts the filtration area in half.
I'm curious, there's been a Canadian user who I've been getting a lot of comments from lately. Is this you? Not that it matter of course i'm just curious.
Optima was the bagged model, though many of them have been retrofitted with the standard cone setup. Princess, if memory serves, was a retail brand to be sold in vacuum stores, they generally were slightly more basic lacking a speed control.
Oh! That's an emerald princess. I don't know what...
Oh they did away with the relief valve type sensor they could be kind of a problem, as they would get debris in them the bag light would get stuck on and the machine would shut down thinking it was overheating. I *think* the way it's done is the same as the height adjustment it just measures...
Huh...it's interesting but makes sense that the lowering occured. I think the height adjustment is triggered by the speed of the clutch assembly, which when the machine is clogged there's less air resistance which would cause the motor to run at a higher rpm causing it to lower itself thinking...
I've run into kind of a dead end for parts for these units. I got an in box unit, labeled as a turbovac 14 for $50 but didn't realize it was missing the bag tray which is also how the bag connects to the machine so....I've got something unusable right now. I've spent a good amount of time...
