My grandparents had one of these and I really want one cause it's kinda special to me but I've looked everywhere and came up short handed so I figured I'd try here ☺️
So my local vacuum dealer called me a few days ago telling me that he has a few Kirby's to buy and I went and looked they are all in decent shape they just need to be polished which is easier said than done but that still leaves me with the choice of what one do I buy? I thought I'd ask here...
I see the model I have been dying for
My great grandma whom I was very close with had a Eureka matching that model I believe it was model number 1432 and Type B. I have been searching for that model since she passed away.
I have a discovery
And it is beautiful I kinda just need to replace the bag cover at somepoint but find a replacement is difficult other than that love it :) I was wondering if there was anything special about it
I kinda just bought this as a Christmas present for myself but I honestly have no idea about it if someone could kinda fill me in I would appreciate it
My local vacuum store
Has a bunch of halos in the back bought them from our Sears after they where dropped. Hasn't sold many but always keeps on out on display.
Your Brushbar...
Looks different from mine, Though I believe this to be because Dyson does slightly different modifications to their products for the respective countries that the will be shipped to, One such example being the DC07 I believe had a smaller cleaner head length wise in the UK...
The only thing
Is that I need a new base and a few parts to replace down there such as the tab that holds in the pre motor filter and the clutch because I think the belts may be stretched... I'm still new to dyson as a whole so figuring out how to do all of this will be interesting..
