I agree with him on central vsacsthough.
Yeah he does. He pulls out that particle meter and the way he uses it is complete bs. This is one of the things about his videos that grinds my gears. I still remember him taking a totally beat up Kenmore that had not been serviced, had old blown out filters and was missing the lid over the Pet Powermate cubby. Even had a full bag. He put a particle meter on it and no surprise it blew a big number. He then used that to "prove" Kenmores had crappy filtration. How about testing a new Kenmore or one that has been cleaned and refurbished with fresh filters and clean HEPA dust bag? Then there was the Aerus Classic he had apart. He removed the exhaust filter and ran a finger down inside the motor housing. He found carbon dust and used that to claim Aerus had lousy filtration. Never mind everything outside of the filter was squeaky clean. PR is as biased as V-F, but in a different way. This I agree with, I also would add PR doesn't try to fool or impress people with "scientific theories."
In regards to Dyson machines, IMO that is where he balances out VF, as he flies to the other extreme on the biased propaganda scale. While I experience some of the same issues with Dyson's as he does, I don't find the need to change filters etc nearly as much as he claims.
Jeez, as bad as each other.
Also, didn’t he use a Kirby in comparison to a hyper-efficient power nozzle with no brushroll on a test with cat litter as part of his video saying that you don’t need a brushroll? Which, IDK, was a vacuum he KNEW performed bad on cat litter?Yeah he does. He pulls out that particle meter and the way he uses it is complete bs. I'm speaking about posting a bunch of equations, charts, scientifically sounding terminology, etc.Yeah he does. He pulls out that particle meter and the way he uses it is complete bs. Vac shops don't like Kenmores because they cannot sell the brand but they get them in to be repaired. Compound that with clueless customers who buy them on line and use the cheapest paper bag they can find on Amazon, never change filters and generally neglect and abuse them. So all the vac shops see are thoroughly clapped out Kennys and form a negative opinion of them. From my own experience if you take care of a Kenny as diligently as you would a Miele or Sebo they will last as long.I'm speaking about posting a bunch of equations, charts, scientifically sounding terminology, etc.
There is zero doubt in my mind PR is motivated to promote makes and models he and his colleagues sell versus ones they don't.
Really. But too bad @Vacuum Facts didn't really test on litter... though too be fair, it's a very minor issue. The biggest issue still remains to be how he present us with. It's like he will alway hold himself back for his entire career. Also, didn’t he use a Kirby in comparison to a hyper-efficient power nozzle with no brushroll on a test with cat litter as part of his video saying that you don’t need a brushroll? Performance Reviews is paid off to make videos, yes. His dad runs a vacuum store and he works as the shop slave. I forget if its Sebo or Miele, one of those brands. So he has to say good things about them and push them to get his dad the commission money and so he doesn't lose his dad's dealer license of course. Companies do engage their products on YouTube and they will know if you say something disparaging of their brand. He is heavily biased and does not know much about any vacuum made before 2008.I'm speaking about posting a bunch of equations, charts, scientifically sounding terminology, etc.

The thing about Kenmores is Sears owns them and keeps the parts inventory totally locked down to Sears stores and distribution networks. So you have no other way to fix the vacuum when the vacuum is discontinued other than finding a salvaged model to strip parts from. There's a lot of recent Kenmore vacuums that are just toally gone from the face of the earth because people just toss them out usually when there's no parts to be found. I might actually only have 4 or 5 Kenmores in my entire collection because not many show up for under my budget limit ($50).Vac shops don't like Kenmores because they cannot sell the brand but they get them in to be repaired.
