Electrolux Corporation introduced that body style with the Renaissance in 1994, and it continued to be made with different model names and model IDs corresponding to styling and pn changes for around fifteen years. The Epic 8000 was the first to have a new name and was manufactured from 1998 to 1999 when it was succeeded by the Guardian models that sold for a decade. These were the TOLs.It seems very refined to the eye.
They are a favorite of mine, the only US model Electrolux you could turn on and off and vary motor speed from the hose handle. There are synthetic dust bags available from DVC I think ( can't remember who I just bought my most recent package from, lol, loosing my marbles ) . Evacuumstore used to sell their house brand synthetic bags for them but no more. I trim a Kenmore CF-1 for a pre-motor filter. Just a nice to operate vacuum.Electrolux Corporation introduced that body style with the Renaissance in 1994, and it continued to be made with different model names and model IDs corresponding to styling and pn changes for around fifteen years. You can select one of three different motor speeds with a sliding switch. Pretty common feature with other brands of vacuum. Whirlpool, Hoover and Kenmore have had this since the 1980s. Miele and Sebo too.Suction control on the handle, wow.
