I have been wondering what optional accessories were available with the models heritage 2 legend-avalir platinum. I want to get a complete g5 with all the accessories available around that time. from what I can tell this is the list of obscure extras available around the time of the g5.
Floor cleaner kit, mini attachments, extendable crevice tool, stretch hose, delicate brushroll, carpet cleaning kit, mini blind attachment, 12 foot hose, ceiling fan brush, 50 foot cable. I want to try to refurbish a g series Kirby, though I can't find a good guide to it. I already know about the shampooer, zip brush, hard floor set, split second and the sander. If there are any other weird things for any models in these gaps that I don't know about it I would love to hear.

If you browse ebay there is a seemingly endless supply of Kirby attachments from all vintages. Complete attachment kits that are 50-60 years old or more turn up more or less continuously. It almost seems like for every old house that is sold the new owners find a pile of Kirby attachments squirreled away somewhere and the sell them on ebay.
