Great fun, John. Thanks for sharing photos of some of your collection. I like the design of the percolators.

Photo Suggestion: Add model numbers.

Photo Request: Convertible 574 and Shampoo-Polisher 5466 (not the common 5460)

Re: Reply #6

Convertible model 574 ... Here's a screenshot of hoover1060's YT vid of its Canadian counterpart, model 576:

Actually, if you have all three US models of that color line I'd like to see it (574, 434, 2200). :)

P. S. Interestingly, the only newspaper ad I found for the 574 (Aug 9, 1962 edition of the SPOKANE DAILY CHRONICLE) identifies the colors as Tangerine & Pearl White (I had thought it was Canton Red & Pearl White):

Ah, didn't realize that my request was "in season"! That makes me hungry for strawberries and cream or even a tangerine. :)

Thanks, John. Unless it was pictured but unidentified, I found no "Convertible 574" in my VL archives or other online searches; although I did find one mention that identified it as a rare bird.

I'm still trying to navigate the new "site". The GUV,and deluxe Convertible are at my aunt's home. I also thought I'd pay a little tribute to the "Brits". You know that " staircase" has been a topic, for years. Luckily, I'm able to post pics myself, and not be reliant know others to do it for me. I'm learning. More to come
