You won't believe it...

I get 90% of my vacuums for free, including my Heritage II. Most of my vacuums are just vacuum store trash that look like they have potential. Then I just fix them up and clean them. Yours is pretty rare, I believe, because it is a Heritage 84. It looks very nice. Though the head doesn't look original because it says "Heritage II." I bet I could make a small head for my Heritage II by getting a Sanitronic head and putting on a Heritage II plate on the front and replacing the tan bumper with a black one.

P.S. Thank you for the nice words about mine. :->

It's the bag thats not original,Here she is with her original Heritage Two bag,the heritage Two has wider rear wheels so the full size emptor that was used on the Heritage won't work very well,it rubs on the wheels. Mark

Dual 50!!

The Dual 50 is definitely my favorite Kirby, although since I got my Classic III I have really taken a liking to it as well. They're both great cleaners but only the 50 has the illuminated emblem.

Kirby Classic Omega.

Has a certain classiness to it, I dunno if it's the woodgrain or the gold bag.

Jeff,

That mini-emptor on your Heritage II does't look original. I thought the rear wheels on the Heritage II were to wide to handle that kind of mini-emptor. And is your Heritage 84 as rare as I thought? Maybe the Heritage II you have is a rare edition or something...

Heritage II

The emptor on my Heritage II is not original, but it may as well be, because its been on the cleaner since it was about 6 months old. The original mini-emptor leaked around the seal, and after several seal replacements, I had the Kirby dealer I bought the cleaner from retro-fit a sani-emptor instead. The bag setup is the same as the Heritage I, save for the Heritage II bag connector. The rear wheels also had to be changed, to allow for the emptor. The cleaner handles/performs much better(IMHO)with the full size emptor.

I don't know how many Heritage 84's were made, I got mine from ebay a couple of years ago for almost nothing. The cord was bad. I have it because it was Kirby's first commemorative model, and with a little polish and a new cord the cleaner is like brand new.
My Tradition and Classic Omega have also been converted to a Heritage I disposable bag set-up.

Mine would be Dual San 50... I have to put on its top cord hook
just wish it wasn't a shake out

I didn't realize a Heritage 84 was rare...guess it was a one year vac.

My favorite is the g6 and the diamond. I always have loved the colors and seeing the g6 was probably the first Kirby I used, I just adore it. I am trying to get my hands on each of them.

My Heritage 84
bit rough
Switch was loose, had to change belt lifter cover
not an easy task but trial n error got it back on tight
I hate those belt lifters that turn by themselves

LOL

Needs a new tabe inner tube

Sweet Dual 50...

I just got my heritage II i got from cameron, texas from ebay. and this one doesnt have the Cut Rug Nozzle. It has the Old bulky Tradition, classic 3 type nozzle. I was Wondering if thats rare..cause most of the Heritage's ive seen have the Cut nozzle with the BPI light. As mine Doesnt have one. So are the Wide Nozzles on the heritage II's Uncommon?? Ill post Pics if anyone wants to see it?
