The real wheels do look like they came off a wagon, and the front ones along with the plug in the front of it are plywood! I think we all need to take note for future repairs.

Charles, I have one of those Packard machines, which I imported from America, to go with my Clements Cadillac with Motor-Driven brush.

Whilst this machine does look somewhat daft, with it's non-original front and rear wheels, it's nice to see it with a Genuine, if stitched-up-like-no-one's-business Packard cloth bag. The circular front cover plate looks like it's been fabricated out of wood! Although it's a shame about this..and especially the front cover, which it may be difficult to reproduce authentically, without such ingenuity, the machine would almost certainly be on the scrap-heap by now!

Does your Packard bag have that cool, round metallic cap on top? I also had a Packard once upon a time but it went the way of one of my Great American Garage Clean-Ups.
