You rarest Vacuum cleaner

The rare vacuum I have, which is in storage and I can't get to it to take a picture of it, is a Westinghouse tank-the type on metal runners. It's the same model as the one from the episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy buys a vacuum from a door to door salesman and then has to go door to door to try to sell it. I don't have the hose or any attachments and the cord needs to be replaced, but I just love the look of it.

Mine would have to be my Hoover Junior 1346, from 1967. this model is pretty rare and only made for less than a year in this colourway, with the pumpkin front.
Could not believe my luck when it appeared on Ebay near me. Its in great nick too.

rarest vacuum

m rarest vacuum would be my hoover model u4395. I say that it is rare because I only know of 12 existing u4395's: there are 2 people on youtube that own a u4395, there are 2 old ebay listings for a hoover u4395 (not the same person selling it), 1 active ebay listing, some guy on flickr owns a u4395, 4 people on vacuumland own a u4395, I know there was once an americanlisted poting for a u4395 for sale, and I own a u4395. so not sure if my hoover is rare or not. here is a photo of my Hoover Convertible next to my 2012 Kirby Sentria.

My rarest vac would probably be my Rotarex, made by Apex. It has a swiveling back wheel, original vloth cord, and a very unusual switch at the bottom of the handle. It may also be my oldest, or at least one of my oldest machines. I've never seen another one of these.

Another rare bird, and possibly a tie for the oldest in my collection, would be my SweeperVac. Haven't had a chance to do much with it yet. It does run but needs restoration work--lots of it! Most SweeperVacs I've seen are newer (and nicer) than this one.

Vacuum

I have a couple that may be somewhat rare. I just got a eureka freedom cordless upright from a vacuum shop. It is in really good shape, but it doesn't have the battery. I also have a white kenmore "proformance" upright, that looks alot like the whispertone/panasonic uprights of the 1990's, not self propelled. I have a kenmore self propelled that has the "power port" that is grey and dark grey, that is 7.5 amps, made by whirlpool. The original fantom, my eureka world vac bravo 2, my regina housekeeper, fantom fury limited, and kenmore destinys( pretty much the fantoms in gereral) are probably more rare among the vacuums I have. Also, my blue kenmore magicord canister. Will post pics soon.

Or.....

the FIRST ORIGINAL 1946 "domestic" upright Eureka. The machine that started a over 60 year legacy......

I don't think any of my machines are particularly rare, although one of my Electrolux 1205's did come to me with a couple of semi-rare accessories: the Canadian style teal pistol grip hose and matching telescoping wand.

Probably the rarest vacuum cleaner I own would be my

BVC TURBINET 3 , When I Brought it, it had the cable coming out of the blower port, there was no handle for it and no hose or attachments set, I first made up a central vacuum hose for it, and then after that I changed the cord from coming out of the blower port to coming out of the surface mounted switch, so that way I could use the blower port, and just recently I had installed a 1980s Kirby attachment set to it so that way it has a dedicated attachment set for it, It doesn’t have amazing suction, but it’s got quite a lot of capacity for the size and age
