Hey Guys

I really cant believe I won this for the opening bid- £20. Considering how rare the 370 is I cant believe I was the only bidder lol!!!.

Will take more pics when it arrives ;)

I'm very pleased for you Seamus...what a boost after that infuriating theft business......there are a couple of things I have my eye on,so hopefully the 'bargain fairy' will be on my side this week ?

I 'sympathetically' restored my 370. I have the tools, sadly no box. Alas the machine runs very slowly....but a few years ago I came across a mint set of intructions in the last of our second hand/junk shops just before it closed.......I thought I'd been a more than generous to have payed him £3.50 !!!!

Does'nt seem so steep now after the '638' instructions late last year, what did they go for £50-80 ?

Regards, W.

Congratulation Seamus!

That is a beautiful machine and it is in very good hands. I can't wait to see some more photos of this classic. I particularly like the belt cover on these. I thought that this was UKs best selling Hoover?

Tom...

...the 370 was only made from early '35 to December '36, whereas the 375 was made '36-'39, then '46-'49, so the 370 is much rarer by comparison.

The Junior range was certainly the most popular in Britain, but I'm not sure which model has the distinction of being the best-selling cleaner.

Excellent!

Well done Seamus, I didn't see that one, but then I've got to give Ebay a wide berth at the moment!

Nice to know it's going to a good home!

Hoover Hybrid? lol

What a great fine! It surely looks like a collaboration between an early Eureka and a Hoover Junior! Enjoy it!
