So, first up, I was given a blue DC07:

And I found a DC01 in the trash...

And rescued a rather mucky Aquavac from the carboot

Was given this hoover hurricane but it didn't work and was in bad condition so I scrapped it

Bissel Spinfoamer picked up for £6

Got a Philips Turbo TC412 and an Electrolux upright that I've been wanting for a while from BHF

Saw this sorry looking Vax Mach Air Force in the trash and although it had no cyclone I couldn't leave it there!

Was given a brand new Steam Cleaner too

Technically it's not contemporary as its 30 years old this year but I certainly wouldn't call it vintage!
Anyway it's a Henry HVC200 from 1984 that was kindly given to me by Mr Wray

Not a vacuum itself but thought it was cool anyway!

Love the bissell spinfoamer - my Mum's friend had the manual orange version. Bit more sleek than the old 1960's version we had when I was little.
