So I got this for free about a month ago. I found it on craigslist. It was not really free because I got a ticket when I went to go get it lol. Oh well I drive fast cant help it.

I need to dismantle and paint hood. How should I take the bumper off any tips? Also the switch is just on it does not work any longer any thoughts.

That's the model my mom had when i was just a tot! She traded it for a Kirby Heritage I through a home demo. We used that Kirby for over 30 years. I remember riding on the hood of that convertible when i was a baby though. I specifically remember it being yellow with no headlight. I also remember thinking that it was boring compared to my granny's Dual Sanitronic 80!

I think the ticket was worth it at least u got there safely. really nice machine I think it will turn out great

I would replace the bad switch right away.
It's not very hard to do.
Electrical fires are bad!
